Summary:

In Montreal, Claire Beaucage loses her belonging when her apartment burns. She decides to travel to Toronto to move into her boyfriend’s place, photographer Billy Stuart. Speaking only French, she is mistaken as Lily Warden, a women that killed a smuggler in a coffee shop. The police chase Claire, who does not understand what is happening, while two sadistic criminals chase Lily, who is the second floor neighbor of Billy.
