THE DOMINICAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL AND SUN VILLAGE RESORT & SPA ANNOUNCE TRAVEL AND FILM PACKAGES

Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic – October 8, 2007 – The Third Annual Dominican International Film Festival announced today two great travel and film packages for all film lovers!  The Festival will be hosting hundreds of filmmakers, industry executives and celebrities for four days of film, sun and fun at Sun Village Resort & Spa in Cofresi Beach, Dominican Republic from November 8-11, 2007. 

Sun Village Resort & Spa in Cofresi Beach is a four-star, all-inclusive luxury resort and has been home to the Dominican International Film Festival since its start in 2005.  The resort showcases seven swimming pools, five superb restaurants featuring a variety of fares from around the globe, eight bars and nightly entertainment.  The resort is located within a dramatic mountain-beach setting on the north coast of the Dominican Republic and is serviced by nearby Puerto Plata and Santiago International airports.  Sun Village recently opened The Spa, a state of the art, 17,000 square-foot spa and fitness center that offers a range of luxury services for mind, body and soul featuring Kerstin Florian spa care products.  

This year’s Dominican International Film Festival will feature films from around the world in an array of categories including Short Film, Feature Film, Latin America Feature Film and Documentary.  The Festival will also include intimate film panels and discussions with renowned directors, producers and actors and evening VIP parties and events for film lovers and film industry greats.
